Paper Piercing Possibilities!

Paper Piercing Possibilities…..say that 3 times fast!

Well, some more of my new favorite things from the Stampin’ Up! catalog.              Stampin’ Up! has done a great thing in modifying their paper piercing equipment with a very minimal increase in price. The new Stampin’ Pierce Mat(p.184) is only $4.95 and is considerably larger than the old one. The Paper-piercing tool (p.184) is only $3.95 and has a much nicer handle for gripping and is lighter weight in your hand. The addition of the Essentials Paper-Piercing pack (p.184) (which contains a much larger version of the old paper-piercing template, and 2 more templates which coordinate with several of SU!’s punches, Edgelits, and Framelits) is SO nice at only $7.95.                                                      In addition, the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack will be available in the Holiday catalog (p.30) for $7.95. These templates will coordinate with the Labels Collection Framelits, the Holiday Ornaments Framelits, and the Window Frames Collection Framelits -which will also be available in the Holiday catalog.

Here are a couple cards that I made using the Paper-Piercing equipment.

I really like to add that little extra touch of piercing to a card. It gives a nice bit of texture and highlights an image or shape very easily.

I used the Layered Labels stamp set (p.103) on the first card. The color combo is Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse. I used the Apothecary Accents Framelits (p.191), Scallop Oval punch, Large Oval punch (p.184), and the Argyle Folder (p.189).

The second card features the Papillon Potpourri stamp set (p.115) and the Elegant Butterfly punch (p.184). I placed that onto a piece punched with the Extra-Large Oval and the Decorative Label punches (p.182-184). The flower border is from the Bordering on Romance (p. 120) stamp set and the edge was cut with the Adorning Accents Edgelits (p.190). The Delicate Designs Folder (p.188) creates the embossed image across the card. The color combo is Crumb Cake, Perfect Plum, and Raspberry Ripple.

Paper-Piercing done using all those fabulous new templates and mat. LOVE THEM!!
