Quilling on Cards

I have never really tried quilling before, but I was so impressed with some beautiful cards that I saw from Tara Bilboa (click HERE to see her nice video tutorial). I really love the beautiful look of these quilled flowers (and the touch of glitter makes them look fantastic!). I also used the Paper Doily Sizzlit (p.191), the Loving Thoughts stamp set (p.136), and the banner is from the retired stamp set, Take it to Heart.  I also added a bit of DSP that is punched out using the branch from the Bird Builder punch (p.185). I also did some conventional quilling with a narrow strip of DSP to add some loops and swirls. The card base is Wisteria Wonder and I added a piece of So Saffron dsp (p.154). I think the color combination is really pretty, and of course, the glitter is a great touch.   Hope you have a great Friday and thanks for looking!
