Simply Fine Feathers

I wanted to add a quick post today, since I am a little behind again!  This is a card that I offered at my last card class. It is a simple card, and has a great masculine feel to it.  I am always trying to create nice masculine cards, since I am surrounded by guys at my house.

I used the Fine Feathers stamp set (p.79). The card base is Crumb Cake, the layer is Not Quite Navy, and the images are stamped on Natural Ivory card stock. I used Early Espresso ink to stamp the feathers and sponged around the pieces with Crumb Cake ink. The words are from the Sassy Salutations stamp set (p.143). I used Not Quite Navy ink to stamp the words and layered that piece onto an Early Espresso piece which is “popped” up using stampin’ dimensionals. THAT’S IT!  Super simple and a good card when you need something quick for your guy.

So, that is all I have time for today. I will be back tomorrow with another edition of Freshly Made Sketches. See you then!
