Well, it’s time for another Hawkeye football game today, and hopefully they can come away with another win!  I made this card for my son, a University of Iowa student, and went with the I theme for this one. I cut the card base, 1-1/4″ front the top and bottom of the card, in about 3/4″ and then cut vertically and connected the two slits, on either side, to form the letter I.  The GO HAWKS were cut using a retired sizzlet die (Decorative Strip Billboard) and the stamps are my standbys  for Hawkeye cards.  I used black and Summer Sun (also a retired color from Stampin’ Up) as the color combo.

So….GO HAWKS! and have a great weekend.

About StampinU

I am an independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator in the state of Iowa. I have been in love with card making ever since I got my hands on my first rubber stamp many years ago! I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator since 2004, and it is great to be able to share what I love: new stamping products, new stamping techniques, and new stamping creations!
