Hello, Baby & Mojo Monday #266 sketch

I needed to make a baby card and I decided to use this nice sketch from Mojo Monday.

I was a little intimidated by all the layers initially….but once I started breaking it down and decided on the stamp set to use, it suddenly felt quite easy.  I used the Baby Prints stamp set (p.63) and the words are from the Sweet Essentials stamp set (p.140).  The color combo came from my color coach: Regal Rose, Sahara Sand, and Early Espresso on a White card base.  I used versamark ink and white embossing powder for the little hand print and punch it out with the 1-3/4″ circle punch (p.184).  The white circle layer is from the circles #2 die and the scallop circle layer is cut using the Perfect Pennants die (p.193).  I used the piercing tool and a gel pen to add the faux stitches and paper piercing on the banner and sahara sand layer.  I also added a Vintage Faceted Designer button (p.176) and  white baker’s twine (p.172).  Finally, the white card base was embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots folder (p.189).

So, don’t let layers scare you….just find your stamp set and color combo and start from there.  Have a great day and try a sketch to get your MOJO going!
