Harvest Blessings Birthday Wishes

I just realized this morning that my father-in-law’s birthday was yesterday!! I hate it when I am late with a birthday card, so luckily we are planning a visit to see him this weekend, and we can give it to him in person (that should make up for it….I hope).Harvest Blessings birthday

I decided to use the Harvest Blessings stamp set (p.85), since he is a retired farmer and loves the John Deere green. I used Garden Green as the card base and embossed it with the Argyle embossing folder (p.189). I stamped the image on watercolor paper and used watercolor crayons and an aqua painter to apply the color. I added a strip of DSP and a strip of textured card stock in So Saffron.  I used the Freshly Made Sketch for this week (#68) as my card layout…nice and simple.FMS68

Well, that is my card….short and sweet.  Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Stamping!
