Be My Valentine

I am definitely in the mood for LOVE!  Here is another card from my recent card class that was all about Valentines.Valentine- More Amore DSP

I used the new Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching Hearts a Flutter Framelits (p. 11 in the Spring catalog) on this card. I also used the new More Amore Specialty designer series paper (p.10 in the Spring catty).  What makes it a Specialty paper is the fact that there are two sheet of paper in pack that are laser cut with a bunch of fabulous hearts! BEAUTIFUL

I used a Vanilla card base and added the strips of DSP. I inked the sentiment from the Delightful Dozen stamp set (p.140) with a Primrose Petals marker (omitting the heart image from the stamp) onto a piece of vanilla card stock and layered that onto a piece of Pool Party card stock. The large scalloped heart is stamped in Primrose Petals ink onto the same color card stock and cut using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits to match the stamp set. The smaller heart is Pool Party textured card stock and is also cut with the Hearts a Flutter Framelits. I added a button from the Neutrals collection (p.156) of buttons and tied a piece of linen thread in a bow.

I love the color combination in this Designer Series Paper (DSP). Just the little added touch of the button and linen thread steps this card up a level.  I really love the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and the matching Framelits….it makes it so easy to create a labor of LOVE!  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
