Four Feathers Bokeh Technique

Bokeh tech-feathersHere is another card using that wonderful Bokeh Technique. I just love this technique and for more details about it go to my previous post: Technique Tuesday -Bokeh Technique.

I used a Baked Brown Sugar card base and a layer of Natural Ivory cardstock. I used the circle stamp from the Work of Art stamp set (p.165) to create the Bokeh Technique background. I stamped the circles in Baked Brown Sugar, Blackberry Bliss, and Cajun Craze inks. I added some smaller circles in Gold Metallic ink with a pencil eraser. This just added a little bit of glimmer.  I sponged with the Baked Brown Sugar ink around the stamped edges of the cardstock layer. Then I added some feathers from the Four Feathers stamp set (carried over from the Holiday catalog p.49 in the new Occasions Catalog) and cut using the Feathers Framelits (p.49 OC). I added a Gold Metallic Button (p.13 OC) and some linen thread.  The words are from the Work of Art (p.165) and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Happy Stampin’!
