Timeless Love, Timeless Elegance Anniversary

I saw a beautiful card by Amy K. while searching for a good idea for an Anniversary card for my in-laws. I fell in love with the neutral color scheme, the choice of DSP and stamp set, and the clean and simple look. I didn’t alter my card very much from the original, however there are a few tweaks here and there.anniversary cardI started with a Basic Black card base and added two panels of paper from the Timeless Elegance DSP (#138444, p.143 AC). I added a piece of Black Satin Stitched Ribbon (#138430, p.159 AC) to the card between the two panels with my Fast Fuse Adhesive(#129026, p.156 AC). Next, I stamped the image and sentiment from the Timeless Love stamp set (#138772, p.29 AC) on Very Vanilla cardstock. I cut out the image/sentiment with the Lots of Labels Framelits (#138281, p.173 AC) and then layered that onto Basic Black piece cut with the Labels Collection Framelits (retired). I added this piece to the card using stampin’ dimensionals.

Anniversary card insideThe inside of the card AND the envelope also has the same image from the Timeless Love stamp set. I used the sentiment from the same stamp set for the inside of the card, as well. I really love the simple elegance of this card and it was the perfect idea for a very nice Anniversary card. Thanks, Amy, for the idea!

Thanks for looking and hope you get a chance to be inspired and stamp today too!
